Transportation
For travelers flying into Nova Scotia, a shuttle bus service (Airporter) to Halifax (approx. 25 minutes per way) stops at several major Halifax hotels. One way fare is $21. For more information and reservations, phone (902) 873-2091.
Taxi and limousine services are also available.
A one-way trip to downtown Halifax from the airport is between $53 and $56 (CAD).

By Train: VIA Rail provides train service to Halifax and Canada, with connections to US Amtrak.

By Car: The most popular route to Halifax is along Route 102 (Bicentennial Drive), which leads to downtown Halifax via Bayers Road. Nova Scotia is also accessible from New Brunswick.
By Bus: Acadian Bus Lines and DRL Coach Lines offers service to Nova Scotia and connections with New Brunswick, Quebec and Ontario.
